UAE Innovation Month “UAE Innovate 2025” is an exceptional national event that highlights a decade of innovation in the UAE, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation.
UAE Innovate 2025 will continue throughout the month of February, with hundreds of innovative activities and events, concluding in Dubai with major events such as the UAE Innovate exhibition, which highlights innovations that have made a positive difference in government and society over the past ten years, in addition to the UAE Innovate exhibition.
A platform to promote the culture of innovation
Huda Al Hashimi, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Strategic Affairs, emphasized that over the past ten years, UAE Innovation Month has been an open platform to promote and instill a culture of innovation in government and society, and has transformed over the years from a national event to celebrate innovation to an environment for developing innovations and transforming ideas into transformative projects that focus on improving the efficiency of government and private sectors and enhancing the quality of life of the community. She said that the UAE Innovation Month “UAE Innovates 2025” acquires additional value this year, as it coincides with the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation, which has worked since its first beginnings in 2015 to establish an advanced culture in government work, employing the power of innovation in development efforts and comprehensive transformation of government work, in order to establish a future generation of government supported by innovative ideas, innovative projects and creative minds.
Huda Al Hashimi praised the great role of the executive councils in the UAE emirates and their active participation in promoting the UAE Innovation Month process over the ten years of its launch, which reflects the spirit of teamwork and integration in government work aimed at upgrading national projects and enhancing their impact on government work and society.
She added that adopting “The Power of Innovation” as the main slogan for UAE Innovate 2025 reflects the UAE government's approach to sustaining and promoting innovation in various fields of work, and translates a future leadership vision that has made innovation a distinctive identity for government work in the UAE, calling on government agencies, private sector organizations and the community to actively participate in celebrating innovation in the country, which represents an engine and a driving force and accelerator for creating the future.
“UAE Innovates” Exhibition
“UAE Innovates 2025” will be held at Emirates Towers Boulevard in Dubai, in the largest edition of its kind since the launch of the exhibition, which will host federal and local government entities presenting a range of projects that highlight the power of innovation over the past decade, and will celebrate the innovative models and experiences that have made a positive impact on the UAE society.
Emirates Innovate Award
The fifth edition of the Emirates Innovate Awards will also be launched, and the winning projects will be honored at the closing ceremony of Emirates Innovate 2025. The award categories include Best Innovation in Resource Utilization, Best Innovation in Digital Leadership, Best Innovation in Facilitating Government Procedures, Best Radical Innovation, and Best Innovation in Sustainability. The fifth edition of the award coincides with the declaration of 2025 as the Year of Community in the UAE, and the committee will take into account the impact of the winning projects on the community.
Innovation Showcase Program
The Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation (MBRGI), in collaboration with Emirates University and Mohammed bin Rashid Innovation Fund (MBRIF), is organizing the sixth round of the Innovation Showcase Program, a special edition for university students in the UAE, focusing on one challenge: “Renewable Energy for a Better Life.” The new round features the highest amount of financial support since the launch of the program.

The closing ceremony of UAE Innovate will be held on February 26 and will honor the winners of UAE Innovate 2025, honor partners and contributors to the success of UAE Innovation Month, and celebrate innovative models and experiences that have had a positive impact on UAE society.
UAE Innovates was launched in 2015 through UAE Innovation Week, which in its third edition in 2017 became UAE Innovation Month. For 8 years, it has been the most important event to celebrate innovation and innovators and spread the culture of innovation in society, while its events have become part of the government's efforts to spread the culture of innovation in the government sector by celebrating achievements and new solutions, and an initiative aimed at enhancing the presence of the UAE as a global center for innovation and an environment for developing projects aimed at improving the lives of the community.
Over the past years, more than 1.5 million members of the UAE community have participated in the events, and more than 8000 events have been organized during its successive editions, in which more than 130 government entities, companies and institutions in the private and academic sectors have participated, and many of the innovative projects and initiatives presented by the events have turned into new business models and contributed to supporting the development efforts led by the country in various fields.
